SONGS AND STORIES WEEKLY WORKSHOPS NOW
AT THE BELMONT ARTS CENTER
Pensacola, Fla. - The Belmont Arts Center will now offer a series of Songs and Stories workshops presented by folk music extraordinaire Mike Potters. This weekly workshop, titled Old Music Therapy that's Too Good To Set Aside For Only When You Are Not Feeling Well, is for children of all ages.
The sessions will be held on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Belmont Arts and Cultural Center, 401 North Reus St., located inside the window factory in downtown Pensacola. For a limited time, each participant will receive their first session at no charge, with $10 fee for each workshop attended thereafter. In addition, children receive free admission to any Songs and Stories workshop when accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is requested.
Mike Potters is an acoustic guitar picker and singer of homemade and rebuilt songs, with many providing an account of his travels. Potters provides an interactive musical experience, encouraging others to sign-along during many of his songs.
A Clinical Member of The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Potters has conducted numerous music therapy programs, workshops, and an assorted range of concert offerings for diverse groups of adults and children.
